She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Urban Waning and Arlene Seigars Waning Grant; her former husband Robert Keller Jenkins; her husband William C. McMurrain; and her grandson Ryan Jenkins.

She is survived by: her children, Robert S. Jenkins, II (Shelby) of Hardeeville, SC, Sean McMurrain (Erika) of Quantico, VA, Jack McMurrain (Courtney) of Amhurst, WI, Brenda Matthews (Eddie) of Okatie, SC. and Sharon Culpepper of Okatie, SC.; her grandchildren, Alan Culpepper, Thomas Strozzo (Samantha), Zachary Jenkins (Sarah), Abbey Jenkins, Max Culpepper (Deb), Brittany Bevan (James), Briana, Isaac, Grayson, Savannah and Isabella McMurrain; and her great grandchildren, Braidyn Culpepper, Kane Strozzo, Chris (Sarah), Brandon, Ariana, Isabella Bevan, Bryanna Hamilton, Logan, Julian and Maggie Culpepper.
