He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Hoffman and Ellen Hoffman; his wife Sallie Ann Hoffman; his children, William Douglas Hoffman (Brooke), James Edwin Hoffman (Kelley) and Wendy Hoffman-Persons; his grandchildren, Samantha Persons, Justine Allen, Jeffrey Hoffman, Nicole Hoffman, Anna Southwell and Cody DiBenedetto; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Allen, Levi Jensen and Dacilyn Michael; his siblings, Edward Hoffman (Gail), Agnes Halsey and Eleanor Hoffman-Wolfe (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Jean Giordano (Tom) and George Darling (Pam).
