He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon LeRue, Sr. and Doris Crout Skinner of Orangeburg, S. C.; his parents-in-law, Dock and Sybil Brunson; and his brother-in-law George Brunson.
He is survived by: his wife Angie B. Skinner; his sons, W. "Gage" Skinner (Kayla) and Spencer Skinner; his grandchildren, Carmen Skinner, Vince Skinner, Wendell Skinner, Grace Skinner, Ruth Skinner, LeeNa Skinner and LeRue Skinner; and his siblings, Brenda Urban (Peter), Gail Levensteim, Carol Felder (Freddy), Christopher Skinner (Meredith), Barry Brunson, Warren Brunson and Robin Brunson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (3705 Cope Rd, Norway, SC 29113). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
