He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Eugene and Mattie Mae Barber Pooser. He is survived by: his son Christopher E Pooser (Amanda) of Orangeburg; and his sisters, Nancy Smoak (Debbie P. Hill) of Canaan Community and Tenn. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.

CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.

“Bobby use to be a salesman for Carolina Pride and he worked out store for a lot of years. We got to be real close friends and even going hunting together. We lost contact when we closed our store and for more than 25 years had not talked. I saw his name listed for prayer on the Gideon connection and called the hospital and we were reunited. He wanted me to come to Orangeburg to meeting and maybe speak at a supper that he would cook catfish stew, covid 19 stopped all meetings so we never got tog”
