He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Strickland and Kate Fowler Strickland; and his sister Lynn Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Deborah C. Strickland; his sons, Brock Strickland of Norway and Ryan Strickland (Rachael) of Norway; and his siblings, Brenda Carlton of Denmark, Beth Garber (Paul) of Sumter, Penny Crider (Neil) of Bamberg, Rusty Strickland (Vickie) of St. Matthews and Joe Strickland (Dotty) of Cameron. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
