He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Sutcliffe and Frances Sutcliffe of Norway, S. C.; his brother Roland Sutcliffe; his daughter-in-law Mary Louise Cranshaw Carter (Louie); and his granddaughter Kelly Alyssa McKeowen.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Brunson Carter Sutcliffe; his children, Linnie Ruben Sutcliffe, Jr. (Brenda) of Bonney Lake, Thea Mason (Brad) of North, S. C., Polly Fitzgibbon (Rodney) of Columbia, S. C., Eddie Carter of Chapin, S. C., Julie Reynolds (Jay) of Gaston, S. C., Cindy McKeowen (Chuck) of Cameron, S. C., Mark Carter of Dumfries, Virginia and Janet Williams (Braxton) of Norway, S. C.; his brothers, Joseph Sutcliffe of Columbia, S. C. and Bobby Joe Sutcliffe of Wichita, Kansas.; and his grandchildren, Scott, Jeremy Mason, Jonathan Fitzgibbon, Jennifer Fitzgibbon Marshall (Michael), Drew Carter, Amanda Carter Thomas (Phillip), Wesley McKeowen (Lacey), Taylor McKeowen, Melanie Melton (Ty), Brandon Carter, Kayla Rook (Steve) and Chris Edmondson (Ashley).
