He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Williamson and Inez Salley Williamson of Norway, S. C.; his wives, Jeanne Williamson and Peggie Williamson; and his siblings, Wilbur Salley Williamson (Rachael), John William Williamson, Jr. (Harriet), Harvey Mcleod Williamson (Sarah), James Snyder Williamson, Virginia Belle Williamson, Celeste Gaskins (James), Ruth Carter (Lewis), Elizabeth Breeden (Munn), Mary Caudell (Charles), Carolyn Lemmon (Buddy) and Margaret Waugh.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Joey" Asbury Williamson, Jr. (Meree) of Norway and Judy Williamson Tinder of Chapin, SC; his grandchildren, Brooke Bridges (Chad), Brittany Webster (Logan), Joseph R. Williamson (Courtney) and Michael Williamson (Madeline); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Brooklyn, Brynlee Bridges, Leighton, Saylor Webster, Cameran, Sawyer and Suede Williamson; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Williamson; and his stepchildren, Ben (Karen), Jeannie, Luke (Angela) and Bob Blackmon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
