He was predeceased by: his father James Clarence Fort. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Ann Walling Fort of Orangeburg; his wife Marcy Wannamaker Fort; his son Joshua "Josh" Harrison Fort (Caitlin) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandson Bowen Harrison Fort of Mt. Pleasant; and his brothers, David Fort (Saundra) of Norway and Robert "Chip" Fort (Michelle) of Lexington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
