It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corrie Garrick Gibson of Norway, South Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo V. Kinard and Hattie Mae Wilson Kinard; her husband J. C. Garrick; her former husband Paul E. Gibson; and her sons, Jacob Garrick and Paul Garrick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Weathers (Scott) of Summerville and Paulette Cockrell (Gene) of Lexington; her daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Garrick of Norway; her grandchildren, Angel Howard (Tim) of Charleston, Misty Herndon (Donnie) of Harleyville, Shandon Metts (Jessica), Justin Metts (Kelly) of Lexington, Jacob Tripp' Garrick, III (Carrie) of Norway, Joni Brown (Robert) of Norway, Courtney Sanders (Charles) of Summerville, Audrey Garrick of Myrtle Beach, Kayla Garrick of Lexington and Conner Garrick of Lexington; her sister Agnes Keitt of Osteen, FL; and her nephew Larry Kinard (Carol) of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
