She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Jeffcoat and William Henry Black, Sr.; and her husband George Walter Coleman. She is survived by: her granddaughter Catherine Coleman Pretorius (Ruan); her great grandchild Coleman Bourbon Pretorius; her great-niece Virginia Schaefer (Alex); her son Henry Walter Coleman; her pet Kaki; and also Brayden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
