It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Rucker Hoffman of North, South Carolina, born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Thedore and Katherine Williams Rucker; her spouse Eston H. Hoffman; and her children-in-law, Larry Jumper and Diane Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jumper, Harry Hoffman (Frances) and Daniel Hoffman; her grandchildren, Melanie Smith and Shannon Cooper (Wayne); and her sister Eva Ott. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 29, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to a favorite charity of one's choice.
