She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Veliz and Patsy Ruth Yates Veliz. She is survived by: her children, Vernie Houp (Jamie) and Preston Veliz; her grandchildren, Jessica Nunez, Christopher Veliz and Joseph Veliz; and her great grandchildren, Nickalous Olivo, Jose Olivo, Anthony Brown, Cole Veliz and Aubree Veliz. She is also survived by eight brothers; and two sisters.
