She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Butler James and Grady Harrison James Sr.; and her brother Grady Harrison James, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Earl Owings, Sr.; her children, Rev. Bobby Owings (Angela) of Hampstead, NC and Melanee O. Woodle (Paul) of Belton; her sister Mary Alice Moore of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Katie Poole (Jonathan) of Pelzer, Pete Bearden of Williamston and Eli Owings (Lillian) of Hampstead, NC; and her great grandchildren, Saint Poole of Pelzer and Ezekiel Owings of Hampstead, NC..
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM.
