She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Herron and Poksie Herron; her husband Clyde Fields; her grandsons, Timothy Joseph Still, Jr. and Dustin Clyde Still; her siblings, Doris Ann Baughman, Grove Wade "Bubba" Herron and Jerry Bill Don Herron; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Herron, Pearl Herron, Brunson Baughman, William Herron and Larry Widener; and her son-in-law Gene Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Vinson Fields (Sybil) of Rock Hill, SC, Arlen Fields (Darlene), Mervin Fields (Patsy) of Barnwell, SC and Alice Bruner (William) of Livingston, SC; her siblings, Carrie Herron of Coward, SC, Lester Herron (Patty) of Aiken, SC, Jean Holsenback (Sam) of Aiken, SC, Carolyn Widener of Neeses, SC and Linda Corbett (Wendell) of Aiken, SC; her grandchildren, Heather Freeman (Jarred) of Monroe, NC, Stephanie Mahaffey (Moe) of Rock Hill, SC, Dana Fields of Clover, SC, Orval Fields (Amy) of Wagner, SC, Crystal Hill (Ronald) of Neeses, SC, Brandon Chavis of Neeses, SC, Phil Padgett (Lisa) of Graniteville, SC, Jamie Padgett (Katelyn) of Aiken, SC and Jada Still (Trey) of Springfield, SC; and her sisters, Angie Rogers (Jason) of Florence, SC and Cindy Davis of Norway, SC. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (4541 Savannah Hwy, North, SC 29112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church (2610 Ninety 6 Rd, Neeses, SC 29107).
