With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Gleaton of North, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis J. Gleaton, and Letitia Brown Gleaton, Sr.; his stepsons, Charles Edward Dantzler and Robert Neal Brown; and his siblings, Otis J. Gleaton, Jr., Charles Malcolm Gleaton, Jean Stroman, Donna Fulmer and Mildred Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Williams Gleaton; his stepson James Allen Dantzler; his grandson Joshua Wade Dantzler; and his brothers, John Gleaton and Melvin Gleaton (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
