He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher L. Sharpe and Fannie Mae Hutto Sharpe; his wife Ruth C. Sharpe; his grandson Chad E. Brinson; and his siblings, Clinton, Nolton, Hilbert, Eleby, Joseph Sharpe, Esther Gunter, Lillie Mae Williams and Thelma Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Sharpe, Harold Sharpe (Cheryl), Albert Sharpe (Belinda) and Chris Strickland (Eddy); his grandchildren, Jason Brinson (Cindy), Amanda, Rebecca Strickland, Kayla Proctor (Ryan), Tamara Snyder, Devin and Dustin Davis; his sisters, Lois Gleaton and Shirley Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Rudolph Carr (Margaret) and Aleane Walls.
