Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hazel Kittrell Strickland of North, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 98, on June 27, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Kittrell and Viola Kittrell; her husband Julian Strickland; her close friend Joe Davis; and her daughter Barbara A. Parker.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Beth Murray; and her children, Manning Strickland (Laura), Acia L. Strickland (Sandra), Sandra Speer (Willie) and June Zeigler (Steve). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery of North, SC with social distancing guidelines, including wearing a mask.
