With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hazel B. Gartman (North, South Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Hazel left this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Bolin and Willamena Elders Bolin; her spouse Macon Gartman; her children, Sybil Ingram (Wayne) and Rodger Macon Gartman; and her siblings, George Bolin, Herbert Bolin, Mary Gartman, Catherine Smith, Salley Parker, Ruth Zimmerman and Betty Walling.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Cassidy (late John Cassidy), Eunice Nettles (Tommy), Robert Gartman (Hollie) and Carolyn Gartman. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home (4541 Savannah Hwy, North, SC 29112). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Open Bible Baptist Church or the Beaver Creek Indians.
