He was predeceased by: his mother Patsy Faye Roberson; and his son James Jimmy Roberson II. He is survived by: his father James Jimmy Roberson; his children, Evon Roberson (DJ), Monya Roberson, Stephanie Jarvie (Zane), Shelly Jefferson and Johnathan Boyd Reinard (Ciara); and his siblings, Alisa Smith (Carl), Amber Roberson and Rick Roberson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
