Elise Costner Walton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2020, at the age of 86, Elise Costner Walton of North, South Carolina, born in Edgefield, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doctor Acie Costner and Zuline Hastings Costner; and her sister Chris Costner Sizemore. She is survived by: her husband George Hammond Walton; her children, Mary Williams (Thomas) of Springfield, James Acie Walton of North and George Hammond Walton, Jr. of St. Matthews; and her sister Louise Edwards of Edgefield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Due to Covid-19 a private memorial service will be held Monday, August 17, 2020 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Pastor Myra Taylor officiating.
