It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Carolyn Howard of North, South Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Milton Howard and Mollie Jackson; his daughter Janice Marie Howard Miller; his siblings, William Howard, Hulon Howard, Horace Howard (Buster), Hazel Holcomb and Kathleen Howard; and his nephew Harold Howard.
He is survived by: his son Charles (Chuck); his daughter-in-law Dawne (Carolyn Lawrence) of Landrum; his granddaughter Jennifer Pittman (Phillip) of Gaffney, SC; his great grandchildren, Jessica Black (Jeff) of Shelby, NC and Katherine Pittman (Jeremy Hall); his great great grandchild Jacoby James Hall of Gaffney, SC.; and his nephew Nelson Barton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jacksons Grove United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 339, Landrum, SC 29356 (Blessing Box or Backpacks for Children) or to charity of one's choice.
