He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Adams and Bertie Lee Davis Adams; and his siblings, Mary Frances Hall, David Adams, Majorie Smith, Cebie Adams and Kenny Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown Adams; his daughters, Wendi Adams Smith and Carmen Fanning (Darren); his nephew Curt Brown (Robin); his grandchildren, Abby Smith (Lane Gerbers), Anna Smith, Bailor Fanning and Leah Fanning; and his siblings, G. W. Adams, Nettie Willis, Charles Adams (Connie), Richard Adams (Bobbie), Gene Adams (Deborah), Jimmie Adams (Janet), Roger Adams and Sandra Hinkle (Bob). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
