He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. Flake, Sr. and Nancy McMichael Flake; and his wife Dorothy H. Flake. He is survived by: his son Burnie Flake (Paula); his grandchildren, Raeven Flake and Leland Rose Flake; his brothers, John D. Flake (Shirley) and Legrand Flake (Joyce); and his brother-in-law Tommie Witt.
