She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Kessler and Patricia Louise Hoffman Kessler; and her brother Samuel Kessler (Cheryl). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Clayton Gay; her son Matthew Avelsgaard (Vivian) of Woodford; and her sisters, Kathleen Cole (Gordon) of McBee, S. C., Loretta Robinson (Gary) of La Habra and Sharane Gorden (Frank) of Laurinburg.
