It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlie Wayne Newman (North, South Carolina), who passed away on March 19, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Persinger Newman; and his father R. J. Newman. He is survived by: his mother Betty Merritt Newman; his children, RonJon Newman (Heika), Becky Long (Kevin) and Robert Newman; his grandchildren, Susie Lawson (Josh), Shannon Mrozinski (Steve), Alex Long, Trenton Newman (Vanessa Gonzalez) and Abby-Gail Newman; and his brother Joel Newman (Debbie). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home, P.O. Box 96, North, SC 29112, which will later make a donation to a charity of the family's choice.
