With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Abraham Chavis of North, South Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vastine Chavis and Desalee Mizell Chavis; and his siblings, Martha Dyches Hutto and Clyde Chavis. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Hammond (Rich) of Aiken; his grandson Kalop Joyner; and his brothers, Leroy Chavis of Bamberg, Bobby Chavis of Blackville, Randy Chavis of Blackville and Lloyd Chavis (Deborah) of Blackville.
