He was predeceased by: his parents, Draudy Bellamy and Carrie Bellamy (Edge); his wife Edna E. Bellamy (Platt); and his brothers, James Draudy Bellamy, Jr. and Clinton Bellamy.

He is survived by: his children, Chuck Bellamy (Pam), Lila Mungo (Greg) and Edna Walker (Joe); his grandchildren, Chip Bellamy (Mylissa), Chris Bellamy (Christine), Charlie Bellamy (Natalie), Joshua Walker (Kimberlee) and Heather Allison (Greg); his great grandchildren, Will, Isaac, Samuel, Olivia, Emma and Luke; and his grandson Matthew Bellamy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of William C. "Pete" Bellamy to Winyah Rivers Alliance, Waccamaw Riverkeeper, P.O. Box 554, Conway, SC 29528.
