He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Cissy" McPhail; his children, Amanda McPhail Russell (Chris) and William Randal McPhail; his stepdaughter Kristi Hammond (Ronald); his grandchildren, Grace Russell, Riley Ivey and Ethan Ivey; his siblings, Robby McPhail, Kathy McPhail and Donald Lee McPhail; and his mother-in-law Betty Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
