He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank V. Freeman and Ora Mae Freeman (Kitchens); his wife Cecilia Freeman (Smith); and his sister Carolyn Harris (Freeman). He is survived by: his children, Erin (Byron), Adam (Christina) and Daniel Freeman (Gayla); and his granddaughters, Brynlee and Gwendolyn Freeman.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lee Funeral Home (11840 SC-90, Little River, SC 29566).
