He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Pothier and Irene Pothier (Renaud); and his son Steven Pothier. He is survived by: his family Omer; his wife Joanne (Pothier); his children, Michael Pothier, Russell Pothier, Kathy Medeiros and Kevin Pothier; and his grandchildren, Evan Pothier, Steven Pothier, Mari Brooks (Pothier), Jordan Medeiros, Chase Medeiros, Reis Medeiros, Mason Medeiros, Gabrielle Pothier, Emilie Pothier and Michelle Pothier. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (1100 8th Ave N, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Joslin Diabetes Center of Boston, Massachusetts, and Freedom Guide Dogs in Cassville, NY.
