He is survived by: his fiancée Helen Mitchell; his son Justin Wesley Merrifield (Monica) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Jada Paige Merrifield and Raidin Sahgal; his brother Arthur Charles Merrifield (Sharon); and his niece Cheryl Lynn Merrifield of Schererville, IN..
