With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. McLaren (North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Skowhegan, Maine, who passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Mary Alexander (Hardy) and James Willard Alexander; and her sister Marjorie Conway (Alexander). She is survived by: her husband Hazen McLaren, Jr. of Myrtle Beach; her children, Lynn McLaren and Roderic McLaren (Pamela); and her grandchildren, Brandon McLaren, Heather McLaren and Courtney McLaren.

Donations in Mary's memory can be made to the Lancaster Academy Alumni Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
