It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Thomas Phillips of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Viola Marie Phillips (Byrum); and his sister Olivia "Libby" Nixon. He is survived by: his spouse Lovetta Bell Phillips (Faulkenberry); his children, Joseph Franklin Phillips (Heather Riddle) and Eugenia Rebecca Phillips Littleton (Thomas Littleton); and his siblings, David Phillips and Patricia "Patsy" Cope. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
