Gerald F. Schmitz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald F. Schmitz of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald F. Schmitz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schmitz and Mary Schmitz; his brother-in-law David Heffernan; and his pets, Digger and Barney.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Schmitz; his siblings, Ann Heffernan and Steve Schmitz (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ellen Darling (Richard), James Van Troost (Susan) and David Van Troost. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nephew and several minty friends.
