It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George C. Wood of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wood and Lois Wood; and his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his children, David Wood (Christy) of Concord and Allyson Auburn (Bruce) of Hemlock; and his grandchildren, Anderson Wood, Arden Wood, Rachel Hequembourg, Daniel Wood (Lisa), Emily Puccia (Frank), Corey Riley (Felicia), Jake Auburn (Sarah) and Ben Auburn (Julie). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
