She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luther Burns Laws and Lola Tarlton Laws of Hillsborough, N. C; her children, LeAnne Preslar Mohamed (Fazil), Michael Patrick Preslar (Shelley) and Stephen Ryan Preslar (Melanie); and her grandchildren, Briare Ballard, Cade Ballard, Haven Ballard, Mick Preslar (Courtney), Luke Preslar (Brittany), Patton Preslar (Hailey), Sebastian Preslar, Ariel Preslar, Reagan Preslar and Braxton Preslar. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren.

The pandemic created a different type of lifestyle for Frances, and she didn't get to do many of the hobbies she had previously enjoyed. With her advanced lung disease, she became concerned that the risk of Covid would be too great to take chances to attend SOS and visit friends as she so loved to do.
