He is survived by: his wife Carmen Chayer; his children, George Chayer and Jennette Moline; his grandchildren, Sofia Chayer, Mark Chayer and Olivia Moline; his stepson John F. Hoyt; his sisters, June Rutherford and Caroline Boudreau; and his sister-in-law Peggy Chayer.
