He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul D. Carter and Cora Clayton Carter; his wife Daphne Aldridge; his son Heath Carter (Crystal); his grandchildren, Mason, Dylan and Allison "Ali" Carter; his daughter Heather Carter Lankford (Jim); his grandchildren, Maddie and Sydney Lankford; his sisters, Mitzi Carter Harrill and Gail Carter Nichols; his sister-in-law Candace Rice; and his cousin Mary Brady. He was also cherished by his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren.
The family welcomes flowers however, for those who wish to make a donation; they are requested to First Baptist Church - North Myrtle Beach, Building Fund.
