With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Gira of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 9, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert C. Curry and Catherine S. Rosa; her husband John Gira; her son Brian Gira; her sister Mary Beth Barnhart; her grandson Hunter Osterweil; her son Christopher Gira; and her brother Robert Curry.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
