She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. John Dorsey Thomas and Claudia McQueen Thomas of Loris, SC.; her husband Nollie "Buddy" Platt; her brothers, Dr. John Dorsey Thomas, Jr. and Price Thomas; her children, Claudia Rucker (Marty) of Johns Island, SC, Stuart Platt (Carol) of Lexington, SC and Stephani Canty (Jay) of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Melissa Rucker, Amanda Rucker, Courtney Walters, Shaun Platt, Kimberly Platt, Eliza Platt and Jamison Canty; and her great grandchild Joshua Platt.
