It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara G. Baran (North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Gardner and Helen E. Gardner; her husband Edward John Baran; and her siblings, James H. Gardner and Helene C. Gardner.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard S. Baran and Douglas E. Baran; her granddaughters, Tara Baran and Emily Baran; and her brother William J. Gardner.
