He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tipton and Betty Ashton Tipton. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Richard "Ricky" Tipton, Jr. (Freda), James "Jamie" Tipton (Lynn Sadler), Jason Fallin (Erika), Tara Gornik (Brian) and William Christopher "Chris" Tipton; his grandchildren, Ashlee, Haley, Katie, Kasey, Malachi, Elijah, Zeke, Orion and Laney; and his sister Ann Davidson.
