She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mati (Matyi) and Elizabeth Mati Vancisin; her husband John Bashar; her son Michael Thomas Bashar; and her siblings, Nicholas Mati and Mary Mati.
She is survived by: her son Attorney John Peter Bashar; her sister Lillian Danowski of Oxford, CT; her daughter-in-law Janet Conti of Rhode Island; and her grandchildren, Christopher Bashar (Julie) of Raleigh, NC, Douglas Bashar (Colleen) of Raleigh, NC, Darcy Epstein (Justin) of Shelton, CT, Michael Bashar of Rhode Island and Jonathan Bashar of Seattle Washington.
