She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Phillips and Louise Farish-Phillips; her husband Charles Smith; her brother Russell Smith (Diane); and her son-in-law Eric Christopher Lyons.

She is survived by: her daughter Angela Lyons; her granddaughter Bella Merwin (Andrew); her great grandchild Hunter Merwin; and her siblings, Donna Green (Lloyd) and Malcolm Phillips Jr.. She is also survived by two aunts, four sisters-in-law, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
