She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bower and Rosanne Tidmarsh Bower; and her brother Lawrence Bower. She is survived by: her significant other Michael Ford; her sons, Jeremy Sheltra (Nicole Coates) of Goose Creek, SC and Christopher Sheltra (Laura) of Moncks Corner, SC; her grandchildren, Davin, Adler and Eliza Sheltra; her siblings, Tom Bower (Delores), Dick Bower (Stacy), Mary Bower (Greg), Ann Harper and Danny Bower (Stacy); and her former husband Roger Sheltra of Summerville, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
