She was predeceased by: her husband Carlton Melvin Harden, Jr.; her parents, Hollins Eugene Herndon and Ruby Craven Herndon; and her brother Bobby Bazzle. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Harden Hancock (Ray) of Summerville and Robert Harden of Summerville; and her grandchildren, Christopher Harden, Sarah Vansouphet, Lyndsey Decker, Jason Phalen and Ryan Phalen. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Thelma's name to Dorchester Paws, 136 Four Paws Ln, Summerville, SC 29483.
