In loving memory of Thecla Bryant of North Charleston, South Carolina, who departed this world on November 20, 2024 at the age of 70. Thecla leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thecla may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Theresa B. Cochran; and her aunts and uncles, Arnold Bryant, Anthony Bryant, John Bryant, Thelma Deas and Sarah Bryant.
She is survived by: her sister Lucrezia B. Smalls; her nephew Aris B. Cochran (Terrance Doucet); and her aunts, Betty Bryant and Delores Bryant (DJ). She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405).
