He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Clay Peavey, Sr. and Ellen Isabelle Chambers Peavey; his wife Martha Ellen Peavey; and his sister Barbara Mae Jensby. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Peavey (Wanda) of Oak Island, NC, Michael Allen Peavey of North Charleston, SC and James Russell Peavey (KJ) of Greenville, SC; and his sister Dolores Arlene Malarich of Lombard, IL. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
