He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Miles (Andrews) and Richard D. Miles Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Miles (Higgins); his children, Bryan, Ruth and Braedyn; his siblings, Chris Logue, Tyra Winegar, Diane Waller and Michael Miles; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Higgins Chase and Gary Higgins; his grandchildren, Zachery, Luke, Lindsey, Rylee-Grace, Benjamin and Emelia; and his great grandchildren, Sevenity, Zanovia, Palmer and Lillyana.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
