He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Roy Jones Sr. and Irene Howe Jones; and his sister Beverly Gosnell. He is survived by: his children, Sheri Jones Bostick (David Seth Bostick) of Ridgeville, SC and Mark Alan Jones of North Charleston; his grandchildren, Stacey Denise Canington (David) of Pinopolis, SC and Rebecca Elaine Feagin of Ridgeville, SC; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Rose Feagin, Jackson David Canington and Lucas Ryan Canington. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Lutheran Church (8315 Dorchester Rd, Charleston, SC 29418). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Gardens (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406).
